Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 July 2026
Controller: econe.it · App: EnerFlow

This policy explains how EnerFlow handles data when you use the mobile app. In short: EnerFlow does not run its own user accounts, does not store login credentials on our servers, does not show ads or use ad tracking, and does not profile users.

1. Who we are

EnerFlow is published in connection with econe.it. For privacy or support requests use the contact page.

2. General principle

EnerFlow works as a client on your device. Information needed to run the app normally stays on the phone. EnerFlow does not operate a proprietary backend to store logins, API tokens, history, or user profiles.

3. What data is processed and where

3.1 Credentials and access

To connect your systems you may enter credentials or API tokens for services you already use (for example MyEnergi and Growatt). That information:

  • is stored securely on your device (local secure storage);
  • is not sent to or stored on an EnerFlow / econe.it server;
  • is used only to authenticate against the APIs of the operators you choose to connect.

3.2 Energy and history data

Status, consumption, production and charging data shown in the app come from third-party operator APIs (MyEnergi, Growatt and similar) that already hold that information under your relationship with them. EnerFlow requests it to display it and, where applicable, may keep it locally on the device for offline use.

3.3 Backup on the user’s cloud

If you enable backup, historical app data may be saved to your own cloud (on iOS: your Apple iCloud account). This is not an EnerFlow-hosted archive. You can disable or manage backup in the app and in your Apple account settings.

3.4 Biometric unlock

If you enable Face ID / biometrics, the device can unlock the app locally. Biometric data stays on the device and is managed by the OS. EnerFlow never receives or stores Face ID templates or fingerprints.

3.5 Support contacts from this website

If you write via the support form, we receive the data you voluntarily send (for example name, email and message) only to reply. We do not use it for marketing.

4. What we do not do

  • we do not require an EnerFlow account;
  • we do not store API credentials on our servers;
  • we do not use advertising or ad-tracking tools;
  • we do not sell personal data;
  • we do not share your data with brokers or ad networks;
  • we do not collect behaviour analytics for profiling.

5. Third-party services

When you connect MyEnergi, Growatt or other operators, energy data and related privacy terms remain governed by those providers’ policies. EnerFlow acts as an interface to access, on your initiative, information already held by those operators.

6. Legal bases (EU / GDPR)

  • performance of a service you request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR);
  • legitimate interest in providing support when you contact us (Art. 6.1.f GDPR);
  • consent where required for optional features (for example cloud backup or system biometrics).

7. Retention

  • On device: until you clear app data or uninstall.
  • On iCloud (if enabled): according to your Apple account settings.
  • Support messages: only as long as needed to handle the request.

8. Security

We take reasonable app-side measures (for example secure on-device credential storage). Protect your phone with a passcode/biometrics and do not share API tokens with others.

9. Your rights

If you are in the EEA or a country with similar rights, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or objection regarding data we process as controller (for example support messages). For data held by MyEnergi, Growatt or Apple, also contact those parties.

10. Children

EnerFlow is not directed at children under 16 (or the local minimum age). We do not knowingly collect children’s data.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest revision.

App Store note

EnerFlow does not collect advertising identifiers, does not track users across third-party apps/sites, does not keep credentials on its own servers, and does not link data to an EnerFlow server-side profile. Optional history backup uses the user’s own cloud (iCloud on iOS).
